RINA is currently hiring: Tar & Maintenance Specialist
Location: Mozambique
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS and CERTIFICATIONS
- Good Knowledge of SAP and CMMS
- Good knowledge (spoken and written) of foreign languages (preferable English, French or Spanish)
including technical dictionary will be a plus.
- Good knowledge in the use of PC including software and applications (e.g. Windows, Office, MS
Primavera).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the engineering technology, International Standards and applicable design and
construction norms and standards.
- Skilled at managing any kind of technical work at the field even with little supervision.
- Ability to work in adverse setting and climatic conditions.
- Ability to diagnose problems with existing equipment and fixing them.
- Ability to interpret technical issues through the non-technical description provided by Customers
- Ability to communicate fluently with the Customers and should possess good Customer service skills
- Enthusiastic, passionate, patient and should be a critical thinker.
- Good logical skills and ability to prioritize tasks depending upon the emergency situations.
WORK EXPERIENCE – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Turnover Engineer is responsible for:
- Defining the construction Turnover deliverables in terms of QC packs.
- Defining the pinnacle inspection and test documents by discipline activity, and coordinating the
inspection and acceptance by Customer and/or Commissioning Manager/Engineer for each QC pack,
including piping test packs, instrument loop dossiers, relief valves, spring supports, electrical circuits,
equipment packages etc…
- Progressively transferring responsibility for the works to the start-up and commissioning organisation
ensuring that system turnover is fully accepted by signature.
- Compiling agreed lists of system exception items to be completed by agreed dates, and monitoring and
record completion of such exception items.
- Consolidating construction punch lists into system punch lists, and providing an auditable trail to ensure
that all punch list items are captured, cleared and signed off for completion.
