RINA is currently recruiting for a Material Management Specialist to join its office in VIGGIANO (Potenza) within the Energy Project Solutions Division.

Mission

The Principal Site Operations Specialist is a senior leadership role with significant responsibilities in overseeing and optimizing site operations. This individual's expertise in safety, quality, and project management is crucial for achieving project goals efficiently and safely. Leadership, strategic thinking, and advanced problem-solving skills are paramount for success in this role.

Key Accountabilities

 

1. Materials for Oil and Gas Projects.

2. Best technical/economical solutions for Materials.

3. Material integrity in compliance with international standards, company specifications and engineering best practices / 4. Corrosion -Cathodic protection.

5. Design and supply specifications of Systems (Materials parts) /Equipment (Materials parts)

6. Project and Operations for Materials Management.

7. Selection, Definition, Inspection Requirements of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural Materials.

8. Selection and Definition of the best technical/economical solutions/conditions of supply for Materials, including tracking, storage, and packaging.

9. Overall material integrity in compliance with international standards, company specifications and engineering best practices, including preservation / 4. Corrosion risk assessment, including materials suitability verification -Cathodic protection assessment and materials verification.

10. Review and approval of design and supply specifications of Systems (Materials parts) /Equipment (Materials parts), including Spare Parts Lists for Commissioning and Start-Up and for two-years operations and Tools Lists / Bulk Materials for production & process facilities, ensuring that such systems meet project objectives, industry standards and best oil & gas practices for safety, reliability & operability.

11. Support to Project and Operations for Materials Management, including Overage, Shortage and Discrepancy Framework and Procedures, and Materials Stock Management, including definition of actual stock quantity, safety stock and re-order level for each stored type of material.

Education

High School Diploma/GED in General Studies/Other

Qualifications

- Extensive and distinguished experience in construction management, with a substantial portion in leadership and senior roles.
- A proven track record of successfully overseeing and delivering complex and large-scale construction projects.
- In-depth technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Expertise in the latest construction technologies and methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to construction projects.
- Experience navigating and influencing regulatory approvals.
- Certification in safety management or relevant safety training programs.
- Familiarity with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and standards.
