RINA is currently recruiting for a Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia e Trentino Alto Adige Certification Industrial Services Inspector to join its office in San Bonifacio or Venezia, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.
Mission
The Senior Product Developer will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our offerings, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands. The role focuses on sustainability and certification schemes for biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, renewable fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBOs), recycled carbon fuels, and products for the bioeconomy and circular economy, within the ISCC frameworks (ISCC EU, ISCC PLUS, ISCC CORSIA). The position acts as a technical reference for ISCC certification schemes, ensuring methodological consistency, regulatory compliance, and robustness with respect to accreditation requirements. #LI-MP3
Key Accountabilities
- Managing ISCC Product Portfolio services in line with regulatory requirements either directly or through collaboration with relevant teams.
- Management of the actions to deliver services in line with regulatory requirements and successfully.
- Drafting certification documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Management of the relationship with scheme owner.
- Design and develop modifications in line with regulatory trends and client needs.
- Coordinating the training of auditors and staff.
- Contribute to pricing strategies.
- Monitor and analyze ISCC service performance using KPIs, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Planning and conducting third-party audits of organisations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Support:

- Act as a key advisor to operational and commercial teams on product strategies and customer management practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure that teams are equipped to handle product-related challenges effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Market Influence:
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with industry leaders, stakeholders, and decision-makers to influence market trends and innovation efforts.
- Represent the company in high-level industry forums, fostering a reputation for thought leadership and innovation.
- Knowledge Management and Team Development:
- Lead initiatives to disseminate knowledge and best practices across the business unit.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring a high standard of product development expertise within the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial service inspection, particularly in areas such as welding, pressure equipment, personnel certification, and CE marking.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and mandatory certifications relevant to industrial services (e.g. pressure vessels, piping, valves, etc.).
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, safety regulations, and technical standards applicable to industrial services and equipment (ASME Codes, EN standards, etc)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and compliance documentation.
- Attention to detail and the ability to assess compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Holding ASME Authorized Inspector qualification.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and test equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings and interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and under the supervision of senior inspectors for more complex assignments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to provide clear recommendations for compliance improvements.
- Certifications or professional membership in relevant bodies (e.g., Welding Engineer, NDT qualifications, CE marking expert) is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline related to sustainability, energy, environmental sciences, engineering, agricultural and forestry sciences or similar fields. Candidates with different academic backgrounds may be considered if supported by relevant professional experience in certification or consultancy, including GHG calculations.
