RINA is currently recruiting for a West Africa I&M Engineering Senior Project Manager to join its office in Tunisia within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.
Mission
The Senior Engineering Project Manager is responsible and accountable for executing and leading projects, ensuring completion of deliverables within the defined deadlines, scope, and budget. He/She is focused on of balancing the demands and expectations of projects with available resources.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop project plans outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Define project tasks, project phases and resource requirements in cooperation with PE. Create and maintain project schedules.
- Understand and manage contract terms and conditions. Ensure that the project complies with contractual obligations.
- Leading the preparation of proposal, understanding requirements and expectations. Act as point of contact with Client on the specific project during the delivery. Provide regular updates and progress reports
- Defines the needs in term of capabilities and schedules. Interacts with technical team in assigning and monitoring tasks.
- Develop project budgets and ensure that projects are delivered within budget constraints. Monitor project expenses and financial performance
- Identify potential risks for the project and develop mitigation strategies (Risk Passport when necessary). Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery
- Ensure that the project meets overall quality standards and client expectations. Implement and enforce quality control processes involving the technical team
- Facilitate communication between team members, clients, and other stakeholders. Conduct regular project meetings to discuss progress, issues, and solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Ensures reports and presentations for clients and key stakeholders are prepared. Upload on RINA databases all documentation related to the project.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement. Implement lessons learned from past projects
Education
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, etc.) including 5 years as a confirmed project manager
- Professional project management certifications are highly desirable (PMP or similar)
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies , with the ability to tailor approaches based on project requirements.
- Advanced skills in manage schedules, resources, and budgets effectively.
- In-depth understanding of project lifecycle management, including requirements gathering, risk management, quality control, and change management.
- Good understanding of the specific standards, practices, and regulatory requirements related to infrastructure sector.
- Proficiency with contracts, client management, and vendor relations.
