RINA is currently recruiting for a Business & Market Analysis Consultant to join its office in Tunis within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.

Mission

RINA is looking for a motivated Consultant specialising in Economics & Market Analysis to join the Economics, Finance and Strategy Discipline.

Ideal candidate demonstrates a strong interest in agricultural economics, rural economics and decarbonization.

The position is based in Tunis with the possibility of occasional trips to other countries in all Africa.

 

Key Accountabilities

As a Consultant specializing in Economics & Market Analysis, you will be part of a dynamic and motivated team delivering consulting services across multiple sectors, including agribusiness, energy, transport, water, and related industries. The role focuses on providing high-quality economic and market analysis, supporting project execution, and contributing to business development activities. 

1. Project Technical Delivery

  • Lead or contribute to the technical scope of projects, depending on size and complexity.
  • Conduct economic, financial, and market analyses to support project objectives.
  • Ensure technical outputs meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Coordinate internal team members and external consultants/partners to ensure smooth project execution.

2. Client Engagement & Advisory

  • Interact directly with clients to understand their needs and strategic objectives.
  • Translate client requirements into actionable work plans and practical, innovative solutions.
  • Apply sound technical and professional judgment in delivering advisory services.
  • Support clients from project conceptualization through implementation and completion.

3. Project Management & Coordination

  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor progress and oversee all project developments.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed deadlines and scope.
  • Facilitate collaboration between multidisciplinary teams.

4. Deliverables & Reporting

  • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, economic studies, and analytical outputs.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with required standards, methodologies, and timelines.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders.

5. Business Development Support

  • Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals and tender submissions.
  • Develop technical inputs, methodologies, and relevant documentation for bids/offers.

Education

Master’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management or Agriculture/Agronomy/Food Technology

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in data driven fields such as Business, Economics & Finance, Statistics, Agricultural economics, Engineering with record of strong academic achievements.
  • From 3 to 6 years of work experience in management consulting firms or in similar roles in Consulting & Engineering firm, NGOs, governmental bodies,or research centers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and articulate manner.
  • Very good command of the English and French languages (written and spoken).
  • Good command of the Italian language is considered a plus.
  • Ability to build and maintain and internal and external quality professional relationships.
