Africa HR Generalist

RINA is currently recruiting for a Africa HR Generalist to join its office in Tunis, Tunisia within the Global Human Resources Division.
Mission
As the HR Generalist, you will be managing a comprehensive range of HR activities, including administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, and employee engagement. Acting as a central HR contact across multiple countries, you will ensure that RINA's HR policies and practices are effectively implemented to meet both local and organizational standards.
Key Accountabilities
Payroll Management:
- Manage the entire payroll activities including processing payments and ensuring compliance with local regulations using SAGE Payroll System;
- Ensure Compliance with tax laws, labor regulations and company policies.
Recruitment Process:
- Lead the recruitment activities, including job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews and manage the onboarding process.
HR Policy Guidance:
- Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies; assist in enforcing policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements, company initiatives, and organizational goals.
Employee Engagement & Recognition Programs:
- Drive and monitor the success of employee engagement and recognition programs to foster a high level of employee morale.
HRIS and Data Management:
- Perform HRIS data entry and utilize HRIS and other systems to ensure accurate data maintenance, approval of changes, and efficient processing in a timely manner.
Organization Structure Maintenance:
- Maintain the organization structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Employee Relations:
- Attend and actively participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Onboarding Coordination:
- Coordinate the planning and preparation for new hire orientation and other onboarding activities.
Personnel File Management:
- Maintain and update employee's personal files with complete and accurate documentation.
Learning & Development:
- Identify training and development needs through job analysis, perfomance reviews and consultations with managers.
Company Communication Assistance:
- Assist the HR Team in company communication, including email communication and maintenance of the employee SharePoint site.
Qualifications
5-10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field required;
Proficiency of English and French (written and spoken) is mandatory;
Knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and best practices;
SAGE Payroll management experience is mandatory;
Recruitment experience is preferred;
Ability working in and pulling data from an HRIS preferred;
Deep knowledge of relevant and local HR labor laws and regulatory requirements;
Ability to maintain confidentiality;
Proficiency of English is mandatory. #LI-AU5
