Avionic System Engineer

RINA is currently recruiting for a Avionic System Engineer to join its team in RONCHI DEI LEGIONARI within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.
Mission
The role focuses on the definition and modeling of aircraft systems and their support systems. It involves requirements management, configuration control, and ensuring safety and security compliance. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity and operational effectiveness.
Key Accountabilities
- Excellent knowledge of aircraft systems, in particular for military aircraft
- Excellent knowledge of aircraft support systems (AGE, mission planners, maintenance support systems, logistics management systems, ...), in particular for military aircraft
- Good knowledge of safety and security issues applied to the aircraft and support systems
- Excellent knowledge of SysML
- Good knowledge of Cameo and Doors tools
- Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English
- Familiarity with issues related to versioning, configuration management and workflow for model development and requirements processing and with the related management operating methods
Education
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of flight simulation systems and aircraft control systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, C++, or Python.
- Knowledge of simulation software and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methods.
