System Engineer

RINA is currently recruiting for a System Engineer to join its office in Torino within the Italy Aerospace & Defense Project Management Division.
Mission
Key Accountabilities
You will be responsible for:
- Analyzing customer requirements and supporting their translation into technical solutions
- Contributing to system design and interface definition (HW/SW)
- Supporting the analysis of wiring and electrical diagrams
- Assisting in ICD (Interface Control Document) feasibility and functional analysis
- Collaborating with the software team and following back‑end software development
- Designing and updating HMI (Human Machine Interface) mockups
- Preparing and executing functional and integration tests
- Identifying issues and supporting problem reporting and resolution activities
- Keeping track of requirements and HMI updates
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including manuals and training material
- Working with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, developing strong communication skills

Education
Qualifications
Strong competencies in:
- Systems Engineering fundamentals: requirements, design, testing, validation
- Aerospace and Mission Systems
- Communication protocols such as RS232, RS422, RS485, MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC 429, Ethernet
- Reading and understanding electrical schematics and HW/SW documentation
- Performing tests using laboratory equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer)
- Basic programming and scripting in C, Python, and LUA
