RINA is currently recruiting for a System Engineer to join its office in Torino within the Italy Aerospace & Defense Project Management Division.​

Mission

You will work on real aerospace systems and grow your skills alongside experienced engineers. Your work will help transform customer needs into reliable and high‑performance solutions.

Key Accountabilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing customer requirements and supporting their translation into technical solutions
  • Contributing to system design and interface definition (HW/SW)
  • Supporting the analysis of wiring and electrical diagrams
  • Assisting in ICD (Interface Control Document) feasibility and functional analysis
  • Collaborating with the software team and following back‑end software development
  • Designing and updating HMI (Human Machine Interface) mockups
  • Preparing and executing functional and integration tests
  • Identifying issues and supporting problem reporting and resolution activities
  • Keeping track of requirements and HMI updates
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including manuals and training material
  • Working with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, developing strong communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

Strong competencies in:

  • Systems Engineering fundamentals: requirements, design, testing, validation
  • Aerospace and Mission Systems
  • Communication protocols such as RS232, RS422, RS485, MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC 429, Ethernet
  • Reading and understanding electrical schematics and HW/SW documentation
  • Performing tests using laboratory equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer)
  • Basic programming and scripting in C, Python, and LUA
