RINA is currently recruiting for a System Engineer to join its office in TURIN within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.

Mission

The System Engineer consultant support the client to develop tailor-made system solutions that meet specific requirements and provide added value through design and process optimization and efficiency. System Specification activities through the definition and allocation of clear and comprehensive requirements, collaborating with both client stakeholders and end-users to understand system needs.

The selection is also aimed at junior profiles

Key Accountabilities

  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with client development team to specify system requirements, including functional, non-functional, and interface requirements.
  • System Functionality Definition: Identify and describe the key functionalities of the system, considering requirements and final user needs.
  • System Specification Development: Organize and structure the System Specification clearly and coherently.
  • Review and Approval: Conduct periodic reviews of the System Specification with key client stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of requirements and obtain formal approval.
  • Change Management: Manage changes in system requirements during the development process, ensuring they are evaluated, documented, and implemented appropriately
     

Education

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics

Qualifications

  • Technical Knowledge: basic knowledge in front-edge technologies and Space & Defence systems: experience in drafting system requirements for an air/naval defense system; experience in verifying system requirements for an air/naval defense system.
  • Programming Skills: basic knowledge of at least one programming language.
  • Knowledge of Best Practices: knowledge of international standards (eg. ISO 15288, ECSS-E-ST-10, MIL-STD-498, DO-254, DO-178, etc.),
  • Knowledge of SW modelling tools (eg. Matlab / Simulink)..
  • Reporting: Ability to analyze and process data and represent them synthetically (reports, metrics, graphs).
  • Use of Engineering tools: e.g. IBM DOORS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
