RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Quality Engineer to join its office in Torino within the Aerospace & Defence Division.
Mission
The Junior Quality Engineer supports to ensure that the production processes and products meet the highest quality standards. You will be involved in inspecting production documents, conducting visual and physical inspections, verifying technical testing steps, dealing with non-conformities, and supporting root cause analysis. Additionally, you will identify client needs to support business development initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Production Document Verification:
- Check production documents, including work cycles, inventory lists, and data records, for accuracy and completeness.
Inspection Activities:
- Conduct General Visual Inspections (GVI) and, when necessary, perform phisical checks to ensure product conformity.
Equipment Calibration:
- Verify the availability and correct calibration status of production equipment to maintain high-quality standards.
Technical Testing Verification:
- Check each step of technical testing processes to ensure they are carried out correctly and meet specified requirements.
Non-Conformity Management:
- Support to identify and issue non-conformities, manage findings, and support the identification of root causes for continuous improvement.
- Identify client needs and help them emerge to support business development, ensuring that our products meet or exceed client expectations.

Education
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of professional experience in quality engineering or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Mechatronic, Aerospace or Electronic Engineering or, as an alternative, Master's degree in Management Engineering having a professional experience of at least 1 year in the production/testing of electronic or mechathronic components.
- Understanding of quality assurance and control principles.
- Experience with equipment calibration and technical testing processes.
- Knowledge of EN 9100 standards and First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements (optional)
- Familiarity with SAP QM module or similar quality management software. (optional)
- Knowledge of English at level B1
