Job Responsibilities & Competencies

We are hiring Java Spring Back-End Software Engineer to join our Industry 4.0 Team in Torino

Responsabilities

  • Analysis and resolution of bugs recorded or reported by the customer.
  • Implementation, at the customer's request, of improvements to the functions in which the software is involved
  • Support for updating program software documentation.
  • Support activities for the development, maintenance and maintenance of the development environment.
  • Management of documentation and software configuration (versioning).
  • Preparation of technical specifications and documentation, mostly in English.
  • Participation in meetings.

Competencies

  • Master Degree in Information Technology Engineering or similar
  • Five-year experience of the Java language,
  • Knowledge of the main design patterns,
  • Previous experience of the Spring framework,
  • Previous experience with Java Message Service with ActiveMQ,
  • Previous experience of the Maven tool for managing java projects,
  • HMI development using Java Swing and JavaFX,
  • Previous experience on Linux operating systems (Red Hat 7.2),
  • SQL language,
  • XML language,
  • Experience with DBMS Postgresql and MongoDB
  • Previous experience on Networking,
  • Experience on virtualization platforms such as VMWARE,
  • Previous experience with versioning tools such as SVN, CVS,
  • Previous experience with Bug Tracking tools such as Redmine and Polarion,
  • Previous experience with IBM Rational DOORS,
  • Previous experience of the Jenkins continuous integration tool,
  • Previous experience with Enterprise Architect,
  • UML language,
  • Good knowledge of English read and spoken.
