RINA is currently recruiting for a Israel Transport & Mobility Consulting - Senior Project Manager to join its office in Tel Aviv within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.
Mission
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex projects in the Infrastructure and Mobility sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, a proven aptitude for business development and proposal management, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills to foster collaboration and build high-performing teams.
Key Accountabilities
1. Project Management:
- Develop complex comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Monitor and control project risks, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
2. Client Interaction:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the consulting firm and the client.
- Understand client needs and expectations, and work to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed those expectations.
- Provide regular project updates to clients and address any concerns or issues.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and other professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, motivating team members to achieve project goals.
- Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to meet project demands.
4. Business Development and Proposal Management:
- Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Lead the preparation of technical and financial proposals, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with client requirements.
- Collaborate with the business development team to align project offerings with market demands.
5. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Track project expenses and resource utilization to optimize cost-effectiveness.
6. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery.
7. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
8. Contract Management:
- Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage any changes or disputes that may arise.
- Conduct regular project reviews to identify areas for improvement.
9. Technical Expertise:
- Leverage engineering knowledge to guide project teams in solving complex technical problems.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices to ensure the application of cutting-edge solutions.
10. Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders.
11. Documentation
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
12. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Implement lessons learned from past projects.
Education
What are we looking for
- 15 years of experience in Project or Program Management
- Project Management Skills:
- Extensive experience in project management, including the development of complex, comprehensive project plans.
- Proven ability to oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Strong skills in monitoring and controlling project risks, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong engineering knowledge to guide project teams in solving complex technical problems.
- Team Leadership:
- Demonstrated leadership (+5 years) in leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and other professionals.
- Proven ability to foster a collaborative and positive team culture, motivating team members to achieve project goals.
- Efficient allocation of resources to meet project demands.
- Software Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Familiarity with engineering software is a plus.
