RINA is currently recruiting for a Central and Southern Italy Certification Business Development Manager to join its office in Taranto (Italy) within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.
Mission
The Central and Southern Italy Certification Business Development Manager drives growth in RINA’s Management Systems certification portfolio, with a specific focus on accredited certification services for management systems (e.g. quality, environmental, health & safety, information security, and other ISO-based schemes).
You will create new business opportunities, strengthen market presence in the field of Management Systems certification, and act as a trusted advisor for current and prospective clients seeking certification of their management systems. Your role includes promoting RINA’s certification schemes, negotiating contracts, and developing winning commercial strategies to expand the Management Systems certification business.

Key Accountabilities
1. Drive & Grow the Management Systems Certification Sales Pipeline
Keep the Management Systems certification pipeline full and flowing, ensuring consistent order intake.
Track KPIs related to certification services, measure results, and turn insights into actions.
2. Scout & Capture New Certification Opportunities
Identify high-potential prospects requiring Management Systems certification and expand the client base.
Conduct market research to spot certification opportunities and match them with RINA’s accredited schemes.
3. Lead Contract Negotiations & Tendering for Certification Services
Take the reins in negotiating and closing major contracts related to Management Systems certification.
Support the creation of winning tenders and proposals for certification projects.
4. Close Certification Deals & Learn from Success
Ensure certification contracts are closed efficiently and successfully.
Capture lessons learned to continuously improve commercial and certification processes.
5. Cross-Sell Certification & Group Services
Collaborate across teams to identify cross-selling opportunities linked to Management Systems certification (e.g. integrated systems, training, inspection, testing).
Leverage RINA Group’s network to maximize mutual benefits.
6. Stay Ahead of the Certification Market
Monitor competitors and trends within the Management Systems certification market.
Use insights to shape smarter commercial strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
7. Drive Business Development in Management Systems Certification
Focus on generating new sales and expanding the Management Systems certification portfolio.
Build and nurture relationships with current and potential clients seeking certification services.
8. Forge Alliances & Partnerships in the Certification Ecosystem

Education
Qualifications

3 - 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
