RINA is currently recruiting for a Avellino Food Mandatory Certification Auditor to join its office in Taranto, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.
Mission
The resource will be integrated into a team of technical resources responsible for the management and control of medium-to-large supply chains operating under the DOP/IGP regime, and, in particular, in the wine sector. Among the main activities are: inspection activities, review of practices, and resolution activities. #LI-MP3
Key Accountabilities
- Document Review: Verify the documents of the customer management system, including manuals, procedures, instructions, files, records, and technical documents, to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Audit Participation: Participate in and conduct audits, which involve conducting interviews, taking comprehensive notes, and evaluating the implementation of management systems.
- Audit Result Definition: Identify and define audit results (positive and negative outcomes such as non-conformities, opportunities for improvement).
- Technical Review: Carry out a technical review of audit files, providing insights and recommendations for certification decisions.
- Skills Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date skills, qualifications, and certifications by staying informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Data Management: Maintain updated records of customer data and other information relevant to the audit process.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrate a strong customer focus by understanding and responding to customer requests and needs. Strive for high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring the quality and effectiveness of audit activities.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of auditing principles and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
- Knowledge of DOCG/DOC/IGT product regulations.
- Knowledge of sector regulations (viticulture, winemaking, bottling).
- Second- or third-party inspection activities in the wine sector (vineyards, wineries, etc.).
- Good communication skills to conduct interviews and report findings.
- Willingness to learn and develop competencies in audit techniques and certification requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of audit management software.
- Adaptability and eagerness to gain industry-specific knowledge.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences / Enology and Viticulture
- High School Diploma / GED in Agriculture / Agronomy / Enology
