🔹 Deputy Engineering Coordinator – Expat

Offshore Oil & Gas | Deepwater T&I | ENI KNH Project

RINA is supporting ENI’s Kutei North Hub (KNH) Project and is currently looking for an experienced Deputy Engineering Coordinator (Expat) to join the Transportation & Installation (T&I) team.

This role is engineering-focused and will support the Engineering Coordinator across complex deepwater offshore activities.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering Coordinator on T&I engineering matters
• Review, comment and support approval of engineering documents and procedures
• Interface with Installation Contractors and Line Pipe Suppliers
• Participate in technical discussions and resolve engineering issues
• Support project phases including pre-commissioning and as-laid / as-built documentation
• Provide general engineering support to the project team as required

✅ Required Experience

Proven experience in offshore projects with challenges similar to KNH, including:

• Detail engineering
• Shore approach works
• Rigid pipeline installation in deepwater (≈2000 m WD)
• Steel Catenary Risers (SCR)
• Umbilicals
• Subsea structures installation
• FPSO hook-up
• Pre-commissioning
• As-laid / as-built documentation

✅ Profile

• Engineering background (Offshore / Subsea / Mechanical or similar)
• Strong experience in offshore oil & gas T&I projects
• Experience working with international contractors and suppliers
• Able to work in complex, multi-interface project environments
• Previous experience as Deputy / Lead / Project Engineer is an advantage
