RINA is currently recruiting for a South East Asia & India Marine Commercial Support Advisor to join its office in Singapore within the Marine Asia Region Division.
Mission
The Commercial Support Advisor plays the role in the administrative aspects of customer interactions, offer management, and basic pricing. This position supports the commercial team's efforts to provide efficient and effective services to clients while ensuring accurate record-keeping and contributing to marketing intelligence efforts.
Key Accountabilities
Business Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in data analysis tasks related to customer segmentation, interactions, pricing, and market trends.
- Generate reports and presentation to support decision-making processes within the commercial team.
- Contribute to the improvement of data analytics and reporting processes.
Customer Data Management:
- Create and maintain accurate customer records in the database.
- Ensure that customer information is up-to-date and complete.
- Handle customer inquiries related to account information and updates.
- Assist in the preparation of offers for clients.
- Implement and manage pricing strategies in collaboration with the marine sales team within SEA & India Area
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in offer documentation.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Document details of offers, pricing agreements, and other relevant information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding record-keeping.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support for the commercial team, including document preparation and data entry.
- Maintain organized files and records related to customer interactions and offers.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes.
Customer Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding offers, pricing, and relevant updates.
- Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer queries.
Education
Qualifications
- While not always mandatory, any previous experience in business support, customer service or a related field can be an advantage. This could include internships, part-time roles, or volunteer experience.
- Familiarity with the RINA services is beneficial. The advisors should be willing to learn about the offerings to effectively assist commercial teams, operations and customers.
- Basic computer skills are often necessary, including the ability to use customer relationship management (CRM) systems, input data accurately, and utilize other relevant software tools.
