RINA is currently recruiting for a Regional Marketing & Commercial Support Advisor to join its office in Shanghai, China within the Marine Market Development Division.

Mission

The Regional Marketing & Commercial Support Advisor is dedicated to bridging global strategies with regional execution. The role is to effectively support the Business Unit’s marketing and commercial initiatives within their region, ensuring alignment with global objectives. 

Key Accountabilities

Global Projects and Local Representation

  • Act as the local representative for global projects, helping them succeed in the region.
  • Communicate between regional teams and the global headquarters to keep everyone aligned.
  • Give feedback on how global initiatives work locally and suggest changes if needed.

Market and Customer Insights

  • Collect and share information about the local market, customers, and competitors to support global decisions.

Marketing Planning and Campaigns

  • Help create and organize marketing plans with the Business Development team.
  • Make sure marketing activities are carried out properly in the region and follow global strategies.
  • Carry out marketing campaigns based on global plans, making changes for local needs if necessary.
  • Handle local campaign details, customize content, and work with partners.
  • Check how campaigns are performing and share results with the manager, along with ideas for improvement.
  • Adapt global marketing materials for the region, maintaining brand consistency.
  • Create local content to attract and engage customers.
  • Make sure all materials follow the rules set by the global team.

Sales and Business Performance

  • Keep track of sales and orders in your region to meet global goals.
  • Work with sales teams to boost performance and reach targets.
  • Share updates and advice with the manager based on sales trends.

Process and Standards

  • Help supervise how business processes are followed in the region.
  • Ensure regional practices follow global standards but also fit local needs.
  • Suggest ways to improve processes based on local experiences.

Events and Regional Activities

  • Organize regional participation in trade shows, conferences, and events.
  • Ensure events follow global standards and meet regional goals.
  • Support regional social media efforts, making sure messaging aligns with global branding

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in a similar role, with some exposure to global and regional marketing activities.
Basic understanding of how to adapt and implement global strategies in different regional contexts.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms is a plus.
Some experience in managing marketing campaigns and projects.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with others across different cultures and regions.
A proactive attitude focused on learning, problem-solving, and improving performance.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work with different stakeholders effectively.
