Job Description
The Marine & Naval Engineer will support marine and naval engineering activities related to FPSO construction and project execution. The role involves close coordination with shipyard teams, client representatives, and internal project stakeholders to ensure marine systems, hull, and structural works are performed in compliance with project specifications, classification rules, and applicable international standards.
The position requires strong technical judgment, site-based experience, and the ability to operate independently in a demanding shipyard environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide marine and naval engineering support during FPSO construction and integration phases.
- Review and follow up on hull, marine systems, stability, and structural-related activities.
- Interface with shipyard, client, and classification society representatives on technical matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable class rules, international codes, and project specifications.
- Monitor construction, installation, and commissioning activities related to marine systems.
- Participate in inspections, surveys, and technical meetings as required by the project.
- Identify technical issues and support resolution in coordination with project stakeholders.
- Prepare and review technical documentation and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in FPSO, offshore, or shipbuilding projects.
- Proven experience in shipyard-based roles or offshore construction projects.
- Good knowledge of classification rules and international marine regulations.
- Experience working with FPSO, offshore units, or large marine vessels is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multinational project team.
- Willingness to work on rotation and mobilize ASAP.
- English proficiency (spoken and written).
