RINA is currently recruiting for a China Mainland PSC Coordinator to join its office in China within the North Asia Marine Division.​

Mission

To ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of quality and compliance systems within the Marine business in China. The role supports the alignment of marine operations with internal quality standards and international regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of quality excellence across all marine service lines.

Key Accountabilities

Quality Management System Implementation
- Implement, maintain, and ensure compliance with the Marine Service Quality Management System (QMS) within the China Marine organization.
- Work closely with the Heads of New Building, Ship in Service, and Testing to support and ensure consistent application of quality and compliance standards across operations.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across the organization.
Audit and Compliance Oversight
- Plan, conduct, and oversee internal and external audits to assess compliance with applicable quality standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate procedures.
- Support investigations and root cause analyses of quality-related incidents, contributing to lessons learned and improvement plans.
Surveyor Qualification and Support
- Monitor and evaluate the qualification status of surveyors, identifying training needs and coordinating qualification programs to ensure technical competence.
- When needed, coordinate with the relevant global function to arrange and deliver local training sessions in alignment with corporate standards.
Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
- Analyze quality performance data and audit results to identify trends, areas for improvement, and corrective or preventive actions.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Engineering

Qualifications

'- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the marine classification or inspection industry, with a focus on quality management and compliance.
- Solid knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and auditing methodologies.
- Experience in planning and conducting internal/external audits.
- Understanding of surveyor qualification processes and training frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
