China Contract Manager

RINA is currently recruiting for a China Contract Manager to join its office in Shanghai, China within the Energy Procurement Solutions Division.
Mission
Contract Manager involves overseeing contracts for inspections, focusing on both profitability and customer satisfaction. The Contract Manager is responsible for the entire lifecycle of contracts, from planning and issuing documents to monitoring performance and ensuring accurate data entry into legacy systems.
Key Accountabilities
1. Contract Oversight:
- Manage contracts for inspection activities, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Focus on optimizing profitability while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
2. Contract Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initial planning completion.
- Develop and implement effective contract management strategies.
3. Document Issuance:
- Issue all necessary documents and instructions for the proper execution of contracts.
- Ensure that contract terms and conditions are clearly communicated to relevant parties.
4. Financial Management:
- Work to optimize contract profitability, including cost control and revenue generation.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing and financial tracking.
5. Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor the performance of contracts throughout their lifecycle.
6. Customer Satisfaction:
- Prioritize and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the contract period.
- Address customer concerns and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
7. Data Entry and Recordkeeping:
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into legacy systems.
- Maintain detailed and organized records related to contract activities.
8. Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide Technical Recruiting Team with the specific requirements to engage vendor inspection and field expediting services.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other relevant parties.
9. Risk Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract performance.
- Evaluate and improve contract management processes.
Education
Qualifications
- Practical experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field. The number of years of experience may vary based on the position's seniority.
- Familiarity with the Energy industry in which the contracts are being managed is often beneficial.
- A solid understanding of contract law principles is important for interpreting and negotiating contracts effectively.
