RINA is currently recruiting for a Infrastructure & Mobility Business Development Manager to join its office in São Paulo, Brazil within the Consulting Commercial Division.

The Business Development Manager will be based in Sao Paulo and assigned to offer and address RINA portfolio of services for Infrastructure & Mobility in Latam Region in coordination with the other RINA’s Commercial Functions.

Job Responsibilities

 

 

Business Development, Commercial, Planning and strategy , Key Account Management for specific clients. Develop or coordinate offers.

 

The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in developing RINA offering of an assigned services portfolio and/or within an assigned geographical coverage writing or coordinating complex offers, being responsible for sales and business development initiatives: focused on new sales, business opportunities, client visits and management exploring also opportunities for alliances and partnerships.

 

Engage with current and potential customers to discuss and understand the needs and requirements, Lead and providing support on major contracts, tenders and quotations supporting our focus on customer satisfaction, developing new markets; stay current with RINA’s current and future offerings and technology solutions, including but not limited to customer-tailored tools  in order to combine the Market knowledge with RINA to overcome expectations, to explore new markets and to work across the RINA Group developing ‘cross selling’ and mutual opportunities;

 

Main tasks: 

 

  • Planned business development activity for established and new clients;
  • Develop business strategy and strategic plan for the Infrastructure sector; Focus Roadways, Railways, Ports, Airports, Metro and Buildings Sector;
  • Meet with existing clients in the assigned region per agreed business plan; Identify and priorities opportunities by client, industry, and geography; Client visits;
  • Prepare and deliver simple offers or coordinating the different company functions for the complex ones;
  • Establish and maintain a focus on development of new business opportunities in the ‘Sector including customer proximity, relationship and market connections;
  • market & Competitor intelligence;
  • Drive and monitor the order intake pipeline updating the pipeline with new prospects;
  • Track competitor activity and providing updates on competitor news and intelligence;
  • Lead and providing support on major contracts, tenders, and quotations.
  • Lead and support contract closing activities and capture lessons learned.

Experience and Requiriments:

 

  • A Civil, Structural, Railway or Mechanical Engineering background and qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience (>8 years) working for Engineering Consultancy Companies, Infrastructure Operators, EPC Contractors;
  • Direct experience on Road and Railways and/or the related infrastructure projects would be fundamental.
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English and Portuguese is essential; Spanish is a plus;
  • Basic knowledge of the International Infrastructure & Mobility market is a plus.
  • Strong business attitude, getting things done Outstanding and team-player capability;
  • Excellent negotiating, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and open-minded personality
  • Creativity, curiosity and open-minded approach. 
  • Demonstrate a track-record of cultivating relationships with clients at every level of the organization Experience of preparing quotations, pre-qualifications and tenders including success with writing, appraising and negotiating detailed contracts and commercial Agreements;
