RINA is currently recruiting for a Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia e Trentino Alto Adige Certification Lead Auditor to join its office in San Bonifacio (VR) within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.
Mission
The role focuses on planning, conducting, and managing audits within our certification business related to the different certification schemes.
Key Accountabilities
- Audit Program Management: Develop and maintain audit programs that reflect the company’s certification goals and comply with relevant regulatory frameworks. This involves scheduling audits, allocating resources efficiently, and continuously evaluating program effectiveness.
- Document Review: Conduct detailed evaluations of customer management system documentation, including manuals, procedures, instructions, files, and records to verify that they meet established standards and regulatory requirements.
- Audit Planning and Coordination: Strategically plan audit activities, liaise with stakeholders to ensure adequate preparation and resource availability, and adapt schedules to dynamic operational needs.
- Audit Execution and Leadership: Lead and participate in audits by conducting interviews, collecting evidence, and assessing the implementation and effectiveness of management systems in accordance with certification criteria.
- Audit Result Analysis: Accurately identify audit outcomes, categorize findings as non-conformities or opportunities for improvement, and articulate these results clearly to stakeholders.
- Report Preparation: Compile comprehensive and objective audit reports that detail findings and offer recommendations critical to certification decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow-Up and Corrective Action Management: Oversee the timely resolution of non-conformities by monitoring corrective action plans, verifying their effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with agreed timelines.
- Technical Review and Certification Decision Support: Perform in-depth technical reviews of audit files, providing well-founded certification decisions or recommendations informed by rigorous analysis.
- Continuous Professional Development: Commit to ongoing skill enhancement by staying current with evolving industry standards, audit methodologies, and certification regulations to maintain personal qualifications and certifications.
- Resource Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and support the performance of auditors and other personnel involved in certification processes, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Data and Record Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of all audit records, customer information, and related documentation to support traceability, transparency, and audit integrity.
- Customer Interaction and Relationship Management: Facilitate technical discussions with customers to clarify audit requirements, address concerns, and strengthen relationships that support successful certification outcomes.
In this role, you will be essential in driving certification quality, supporting organizational objectives, and enhancing customer trust through expert audit management and consultative collaboration.
Education
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in General Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields. You should bring at least 4 years of dedicated experience in auditing management systems or related industry standards such as ISO. A deep understanding of audit planning, execution, documentation review, and reporting is critical, alongside proven capabilities to lead audit programs aligned with organizational goals.
Strong technical proficiency in identifying and categorizing audit findings, coupled with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, is essential. Up-to-date qualifications, including Lead Auditor certification (ISO or equivalent), underscore your professional expertise. A thorough knowledge of industry regulations and continuous improvement practices will support your success in this position.
