RINA is currently recruiting for a RAMS Engineer for Space sector to join its office in  Como within the Space & Defence Division.

Mission

You will become part of the growing Quality and Product  Assurance group, with responsibility for the RAMS aspects of assigned projects and technology developments.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Implementing general programmatic and technical dependability and safety assurance requirements in relation to ESA standards and specifications, the ECSS. 
• Performing dependability and safety analyses (e.g. FMECA, FTA, RBD and Reliability Prediction etc.), technical notes, technical risk assessments, risk reduction processes and the associated preventive or corrective actions. 
• Managing deliverables status within specific projects. 
• Liaising with software and hardware product assurance on related matters including certification needs. 
• Liaising with security teams for topics with an impact on dependability or safety. 
• Supporting research and study activities in the fields of dependability and safety requirements, techniques, tools and integrated engineering process methodologies and risk management methods. 
• Monitoring applicable scientific and technological trends and maintaining state-of-the-art expertise. 
• Participating in periodic meetings with Quality function, contributing to the transfer of technical knowledge and lessons learned across the assigned projects. 

• Working in synergy with project team providing RAMS guidance. 
• Supporting establishment and implementation of standards and best practices in the RAMS field.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree
Master’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or Aerospace Engineering

Language:
Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
