RINA is currently recruiting for a Product Validation - Project manager to join its office in Bolzano within the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Division.

Mission

RINA Consulting S.p.A. is seeking a Project Manager for Product Validation, to play a pivotal role in the development of products in Space & Defense projects in Bolzano. As a valued team member, you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage various projects in an innovative and dynamic work environment, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in ceramic materials and their practical applications.

Key Accountabilities

As a Project Manager for Product Validation, you will be responsible for coordinating a diverse project team encompassing Prototypes, Testing, E&E Testing, and Homologation within the Product Validation department. You will collaborate closely with entity managers to facilitate program decisions and keep abreast of technical project updates. In addition to internal interactions, you will liaise with the Platform, Chief Engineer, and program manager to ensure alignment on program progress. Your role will also involve engaging with end customers, overseeing customer tests, and communicating validation progress effectively. Participation in Engineering management meetings, adherence to safety protocols, and active reporting of safety concerns will be integral to your responsibilities.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess extensive experience in project management within the automotive sector. Proficiency in basic project management tools such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project is essential. Knowledge of vehicle structures, experimental methodologies, test systems, data acquisition/analysis systems, vehicle dynamics, and test specifications is required. Familiarity with mechanical, system, body parts/groups/assemblies, measurement systems of physical quantities, technical drawings, bills of materials, and functionality of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems is crucial. Strong English language skills, willingness to travel nationally and internationally, excellent team management abilities, good driving skills, and openness to diversity are key qualifications sought for this position.
