RINA is currently recruiting for a Lead Auditor - ESG to join its office in Milan, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.

Mission

The role focuses on reviewing various documents, conducting audits, identifying findings, and contributing to the certification process related to the different certification schemes.

The mission is conducting third-party audits with a focus on Environment and Sustainability schemes (e.g., ISO 14001/EMAS/50001, ETS, 14064, 14067). #LI-MC1

Key Accountabilities

- Document Review:
Ensure compliance with standards and regulations by meticulously checking and reviewing customer management system documents.

- Audit Participation:
Play an active role in audits by conducting interviews, taking detailed notes, and assessing the implementation of management systems.

- Audit Result Definition:
Identify and define audit outcomes, distinguishing between positive and negative findings such as non-conformities and opportunities for improvement.

- Technical Review:
Conduct thorough technical reviews of audit files and offer valuable insights for certification decisions.

- Skill Maintenance:
Stay abreast of industry standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure your skills and certifications remain current.

- Data Management:
Maintain accurate records of customer data and other audit-related information.

- Customer Focus:
Respond promptly to customer requests and needs, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through high-quality audit activities.

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

  • Hold a university degree, preferably in a technical field like Environmental Engineering or Environmental Sciences.
  • Possess certification as a Qualified Lead Auditor for relevant schemes in third-party audits (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Have at least two years of experience in sustainability and environmental topics.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop expertise in audit techniques and certification requirements.
  • Display proficiency in MS Office and possess a basic understanding of audit management software.
