RINA is currently recruiting for a IC & Monitoring Engineer to join its office in Fano, Milan or Genoa, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
Mission
The ideal candidate will be responsible of executing Projects within the division, interfacing and coordinating with other peers. The candidate will work in a dynamic and exciting consultancy environment, with ample opportunities to grow and increase his/her skills, eventually acting as focal technical point for his/her own areas of expertise. He will be involved in the technical decisional processes of the Division.
Experience and Requirements
- At least 4 years of previous professional experience in a consultancy environment for I&C in oil and gas industry (onshore/offshore);
- Team worker, yet capable to work independently, on challenging and diversified activities;
- Capable to work in a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to complex projects;
- Full Availability to travel in Italy and abroad for short-medium periods depending on projects needs
- Working knowledge of the most common International Standards for Instrumentation Safety and F&G detection;
- Good knowledge of programming languages (i.e C#, C++) is considered a plus;
- Proficiency in PC use (MS Office) and in the use of the most common commercial software tools for instrumentation (Instrucalc, Smartplant SPI);
- Good knowledge of both spoken and written technical English.
- Master's Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or Automation and Control Engineering will be considered a plus.

Job Responsibilities
- The position is a senior Specialist which will be responsible of executing Projects within the division, interfacing and coordinating with other peers. The candidate will be responsible of his/her technical duties and potentially of those of his/her own Team, and will refer through the Division hierarchy. Duties will include the execution of engineering projects from the proposal phase to the final reporting and he/she will interface directly with clients and vendors, representing the Company and the I&C Department.
- Partecipation in Hazid, Hazop, and SIL assessment as specialist for the I&C discipline.
- Ability to develop in autonomy the various steps required in the design of instrumentation, control, safety, F&G and telecom systems including preparation of specifications, data sheets, layouts and list. He/she can also be required to review the design documentation developed by others, perform Capex, technical bid evaluations, Vendor’s follow up and participate to the commissioning and start up phases.
