RINA is currently recruiting for a EU R&D Proposal Manager (Space&Defence) to join its office in Milan, Rome and Genoa within the Space & Defence Division.

Mission

Development and coordination of proposal of international R&D projects for the Aerospace, Defense and Security sector, the coordination of resulting projects aims according to the company R&D strategy.

Job Responsibilities

The new resource will be part of the R&D team Space & Defence Operations, which is mainly exposed to R&D projects and innovation activities.  He/she will:

  • develop and coordinate EU R&D proposals in the field of Space & Defence, Cybersecurity and Mission-critical Systems 
  • Develop and manage the network of EU international partners.
  • Contribute to the creation of new opportunities and the preparation of new proposals in the framework of European and international R&D programmes
  • Contribute to the growth of RINA’s network of R&D partners in the field of space & defence.
  • Scout Funded and Tendered opportunities in the field of Space & Defence
  • At least 5 years of related work experience
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Excellent reporting skills both verbal and written
  • Capacity to conduct research, organize work and produce results
  • Good attitude to teamwork
  • Open-minded to innovation, creativity, and good attitude to networking

Education

Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
