RINA is currently recruiting for a EMEA Marine Consulting Junior Project Manager to join its office in Rotterdam within the Marine Consulting Division.

Mission

The Junior Project Manager will support other project managers throughout the project life cycle and will be responsible for supporting the execution of project plans, ensuring completion of deliverables within the defined deadlines, scope, and budget.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborating with senior project managers to define project objectives and deliverables and contribute to the development of project timelines and milestones
  • Collaborating with engineers and technical experts to understand and incorporate engineering calculations into project plans.
  • Supporting team members in their tasks and responsibilities and foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Working with the project team to ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and participate in project reviews and audits.
  • Maintaining project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and project schedules.
  • Helping prepare and review project proposals, contracts, and other relevant documents and ensure that all project documentation is organized and accessible.
  • Generating regular project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing updates on project milestones, risks, and issues during team meetings.

Qualifications

  • Relevant internship experience or 1-5 years of related experience in engineering or construction related field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering is preferred
  • Engineering Knowledge:
    • Basic understanding of engineering concepts and calculations.
    • Ability to collaborate with engineers and technical experts.
    • Ensure accurate incorporation of engineering calculations into project plans
  • Software Skills:
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    • Familiarity with engineering software is a plus.
