RINA is currently recruiting for a Central Europe Senior Business Development Manager to join its office in Rotterdam within the Consulting Commercial Division.

Mission

The Senior Business Development Manager will be accountable for increasing RINAs market penetration and profitability expansion in the Energy sector’s clients in Central and Northern Europe (The Netherlands, German-speaking countries, Scandinavia, Poland). Will lead business development of new clients and account management of existing customers who are based or executing projects in Central Europe. Shape the vision for change by ensuring RINAs offer remains relevant and innovative given the fast pace of the energy sector.

Job Responsibilities

Planning and strategy

  • Develop business strategy and strategic plan for the Energy sector. Identify and prioritise opportunities by client, industry and geography

 

Client visits and customer management

  • Meet with existing clients in the assigned region per agreed business plan
  • Understand clients needs and offer RINA’s services clearly articulating how we add value
  • Identify opportunities to increase RINA brand and services awareness. Constantly increase client networking across multiple channels
  • Create and maintain networking with customer, up to Top Management level

 

Major contracts, tenders and quotations

  • Provide support and input as required for Global Contracts/MSA’s, bids, quotes, etc and supporting all offices with any local contracts, bids, quotes, etc. 
  • Provide support with preparation of quotations, pre-qualifications and tenders within set deadlines as applicable and in conjunction with regional / local offices as appropriate
  • Support on proposal delivery, negotiation and deal closure processes
  • Understand contract evaluation and provide feedback internally on any gaps to ensure future success

 

Market & Competitor intelligence

  • Track competitor activity and monitor competitor news and intelligence. Leverage this information to adjust RINA’s go to market strategy and commercial approach
  • Monitor customer and industry news to identify opportunities and market trends that affect RINA and may influence the regional strategic plan and priorities.

 

Alliances and partnerships

  • Explore opportunities for alliances and partnerships as appropriate within the industry to exploit new markets and opportunities
  • Work with the RINA global management team to identify potential acquisition opportunities and develop these with the RINA group

 

 Cross selling

  • Work with the different divisions in RINA to develop ‘cross selling’ and mutual opportunities with clients.
