RINA is currently recruiting for a Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team in Montevarchi (AR)  within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.

Mission

The Verification and Validation Engineer focuses on avionic system verification, and Product qualification and certification ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role will be engaged in continuous on-field learning and development to expand personal knowledge of electronic system technologies and practices.

Key Accountabilities

The Verification and Validation engineer will: 

  • Contribute to product configuration management and part list.
  • Use software tools to manage verification and validation tests reports.
  • Prepare technical documentation and assist to periodic reviews and progress meetings.
  • Support the documentation of design concepts, analysis results, and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the coordination of the tasks and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of test plans and procedures for prototype testing.
  • Assist senior engineers in carrying out test and validation activities to ensure system reliability and safety.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues related to system design through troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities to increase knowledge of electrical power system technologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Seek guidance from senior engineers and participate in training programs as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering
Master’s Degree in Engineering General o Electronic/TLC Engineering

Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Abilities with test and verification of analogue and digital electronic boards.
  • Strong technical knowledge with laboratory instrumentation such as EMI receiver, analyzer, frequency analyzer, and others.
  • Writing skills, with experience in preparing test procedures documents and test reports.

Moreover, will be very high appreciated one or more of the following skills:

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve technical issues in electronic systems.
  • Experience of test and validation activities, including developing test plans and supporting prototype evaluations.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electronic systems.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with engineers, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated on new technologies and industry best practice.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following tools: PLM TcU suite for product configuration and part list management, DOORS for system requirements management, Btoweb for test report management.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge in RTCA DO-254 / EUROCAE ED-80 will be positively evaluated.
