RINA is currently recruiting for a Test Engineer to join its office in Roma within the Space & Defence Division.

Mission

This role focuses on providing support to engineers in environmental tests aimed to military systems and sub-systems qualification.

Key Accountabilities

Drafting of the Environmental Qualification Plan and Procedures aimed to verify the compliance of military systems and subsystems to the assigned requirements.
Supervision and technical support during the execution of climatic and mechanical tests in internal and external test facilities.
Critical analysis of test results, non-conformities identification and drafting of the relative test reports.
Continuously participation in all qualification process reviews presenting the progress of the activities and results.
Softwares: Microsoft Office Package.
Standards: MIL-STD-810H, AECTP 400, DO-160

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering

Qualifications

Main regulations concerning the environmental aspects of Test & Validation knowledge (MIL-STD-810, AECTP 400, DO-160, etc.)
Experience in drafting Test & Validation environmental test plans, procedures and reports
Implementation of specific product tests with the use of diversified instrumentation including: oscilloscopes, function generators, accelerometers, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, etc.
Good knowledge of the English language
Available for short term National transfers
