RINA is currently recruiting for a System Test Engineer to join its office in Roma within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.

Mission

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the technology fields of electronic and electrical engineering, as well as good practice in essential skills such as risk management and requirements analysis.

Key Accountabilities

The system engineer's key responsibilities are:

To provide engineering contributions for the design, production, and use of Special Tools & Test Equipment, PCB test fixtures, and test equipment.
To collaborate with the program and development engineering teams to evaluate system test strategies and verify requirements.
To provide engineering and logistic support to oversee the production of electronic devices and tools, including supervising technical laboratory activities and serving as the technical interface with providers and distributors.

The successful candidate will be expected also to contribute to the preparation of the project documentation, including but not limited to the technical data package, production package, test requirements and test procedures, equipment user manuals, equipment installation manuals, and acceptance test reports. The system engineer is expected to contribute to project milestone reports and to support during the required project reviews.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or Engineering General

Qualifications

The systems engineer successfully utilizes a wide range of skills to deeply understand signals or process flows, propose and implement functional systems, and monitor and feedback the results to solve any issue that may arise.

Knowledge on office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is mandatory.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.

Knowledge on laboratory equipment and system interfaces is mandatory.

Knowledge on engineering software tools such as Altium Designer, AutoCAD, and Inventor is preferable.

A cross-field experience and a minimum of five years of previous experience in an IT-based role will be positively evaluated.
