System Engineering Junior Consultant

RINA is currently recruiting for a System Engineering Junior Consultant to join its office in Roma within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.
Mission
Provide specialized technical and engineering support for configuration management, airworthiness, and maintenance activities related to aircraft and aircraft engines, contributing to the development, technical documentation control and certification of aeronautical products in compliance with industry regulations.
Key Accountabilities
Client Support & Technical Supervision
- Support for the system configuration management of aircraft and aircraft engines, ensuring compliance with mission and contractual requirements.
- Support to technical documentation management with respect to the following macro-sectors: aerostructures, avionics, onboard systems, armament, engines, simulation systems, and mission planning systems.
- Review and validate engineering documentation, analyses, and verification plans from contractors or suppliers in cooperation with with design, maintenance and quality teams.
- Support to continuing airworthiness activities.
- Technical analysis of system issues.
- Collaboration in maintenance processes.
System Integration Support
- Support system integration planning activities, including requirements and interface management.
- Participation in supporting the evaluation of detailed technical solutions during program progress meetings (System Requirements Review, SRR; Preliminary Design Review, PDR; Critical Design Review, CDR; etc.) for aircraft, simulation systems, and mission planning systems;
Documentation and Reporting
- Support to system configuration management.
- Contribute to system integration documentation, including test and commissioning plans, reports, and interface documentation.
- Support the update and maintenance of system‑level technical documentation.
Quantity Takeoffs and Cost Estimates:
- Aid in the preparation of material Quantity Takeoffs
- Cost Estimates
- Management of bidding documents for Engineering projects.
Education
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical or equivalent): 110/110.
- Certified knowledge of the English language (B2 or higher).
- From 1 to 3 years of experience in technical activities related to aircraft engines, maintenance, aeronautical documentation and configuration management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (ICDL certification is considered a relevant qualification/plus).
- Familiarity with both civil and military aeronautical regulations is considered a plus.
Preferential/Rewarding Elements During Evaluation
- Knowledge of 2D/3D rendering software or CAD.

Compensation Data
The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).
The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €31,000.00 and €36,000.00 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.
In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
