System Administrator - Cybersecurity Integration

RINA is currently recruiting for a System Administrator - Cybersecurity Integration to join its office in Roma within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.
Mission
We are looking for a System Administrator with solid experience in administering Linux and Windows systems, who will grow into the role of Cybersecurity Integrator. The position involves working as an on-field consultant at our clients, contributing to the implementation, integration, configuration, and management of cybersecurity platforms.
Activities may be carried out on-site or remotely, depending on operational needs.
Key Accountabilities
- Deploy, configure, integrate, and manage client cybersecurity solutions, including EDR, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, and Cloud Security platforms;
- Operate and maintain security tools in production environments, ensuring stability, updates, and continuous improvement;
- Develop, customize, and maintain scripts and API-based integrations (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate processes, improve efficiency, and enable interoperability between security tools;
- Collaborate with customer technical teams to translate security requirements into operational solutions;
- Produce technical documentation and reports on solutions, integration processes, and risks;
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the setup, integration, and management of security solutions beyond perimeter security (e.g. EDR, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, CASB/SWG);
- Strong hands-on experience in administering Linux and Windows systems (including Active Directory);
- Excellent programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell), with the ability to leverage APIs for automation and integration of security platforms;
- Good knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN);
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills;
- English proficiency at least at B2 level, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:
- Tenable (Vulnerability Management)
- Splunk (SIEM & Security Analytics)
- SentinelOne (EDR)
- Netskope (CASB/SWG)
- Knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related cloud security aspects;
- Familiarity with security architecture design (segmentation, secure configurations, zero trust principles).
