RINA is currently recruiting for a Sviluppo FPGA to join its office in Roma within the Space & Defence Division.
Mission
- Provide support to system engineer for FPGA definition;
- Collaborate to define the FPGA detailed specification;
- Define and evaluate IP cores to be procured;
- Define the FPGA architecture;
- Design the FPGA in VHDL;
- Perform code coverage;
- Design the testbench for the FPGA;
- Perform simulation;
- Perform synthesis and P&R.
Job Responsibilities
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics;
- Good knowledge of:
- VHDL/Verilog coding;
- FPGA devices (in particular Microsemi);
- FPGA SW tools (Modelsim, Sinplify, Microsemi Libero);
- digital design (processors, memories, ADC, ecc);
- digital I/Fs (SPI, UART, ecc);
- laboratory instrumentation (mainly multimeter and oscilloscope);
- Microsoft office;
- Fluent spoken and written English;
- 2-3 years of experience in FPGA DESIGN;
- Previous experience in FPGA design in military or aerospace will be appreciated.
