RINA is currently recruiting for a Sviluppo FPGA to join its office in Roma within the Space & Defence Division.

Mission

  • Provide support to system engineer for FPGA definition;
  • Collaborate to define the FPGA detailed specification;
  • Define and evaluate IP cores to be procured;
  • Define the FPGA architecture;
  • Design the FPGA in VHDL;
  • Perform code coverage;
  • Design the testbench for the FPGA;
  • Perform simulation;
  • Perform synthesis and P&R. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics; 
  • Good knowledge of:
    • VHDL/Verilog coding;
    • FPGA devices (in particular Microsemi);
    • FPGA SW tools (Modelsim, Sinplify, Microsemi Libero);
    • digital design (processors, memories, ADC, ecc);
    • digital I/Fs (SPI, UART, ecc);
    • laboratory instrumentation (mainly multimeter and oscilloscope);
    • Microsoft office;
  • Fluent spoken and written English;
  • 2-3 years of experience in FPGA DESIGN; 
  • Previous experience in FPGA design in military or aerospace will be appreciated.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General
