Mission
RINA Consulting is looking for a Software Application Engineer focused on designing, developing and testing software applications that align with customer needs. The ideal candidate has a full-stack attitude in software development and a passion for building scalable, maintainable, and efficient applications.
Key Accountabilities
Software Development:
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure software applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to software development best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and implementation plans.
Testing and Deployment:
- Debug the implemented application software
- Support the V&V team during testing and validation activities for defect analysis
- Analyze and solve detected problems implementing the needed corrections
Documentation:
- Document sw requirements, design decisions, APIs, and implementation details.
- Maintain technical documentation and diagrams related to the software applications.
Support and Maintenance:
- technical support to customers and internal teams as needed.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Education
Qualifications
- Good experience as a Software Engineer or Software Application Engineer, with a track record of delivering high-quality software applications.
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as C/C++, Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience with desktop application development frameworks (e.g., MS Visual Studio, VS Code, Eclipse) and/or web application development frameworks(Spring, Django, React, Angular, PrimeFaces).
- Familiarity with database technologies (Oracle, SQL server, postgresql,...).
- Understanding of software engineering life cycle and development best practices, like version control systems (e.g., Git).
