RINA is currently recruiting for a Real Estate Auction Facilitation Manager to join its office in Roma within the Real Estate General Management Division.
Mission
The Auction Facilitation Manager is responsible for the operational execution of judicial auction promotion activities, with the objective of maximizing auction visibility, participation, and sales performance of NPL-related Real Estate assets.
The role actively contributes to the development and continuous improvement of auction promotion and BOV collection strategies, providing market insights, operational feedback, and data-driven input to support strategic decision-making at functional level.
The role also supports the valuation process by coordinating the collection of Broker Opinions of Value (BOV) from local real estate agents, ensuring alignment with market conditions and high-quality inputs for exit strategy execution.
The position leads a team of Auction Promotion Specialists and real estate agents, ensuring operational excellence, performance achievement, compliance, and continuous improvement
Key Accountabilities
Auction Execution, Promotion & Strategic Support
- Implement auction promotion strategies defined by the central function.
- Contribute to the definition and continuous refinement of auction promotion strategies, based on field insights, market behavior, and performance data.
- Increase visibility, attractiveness, and participation in judicial auctions through targeted marketing initiatives and digital/local channels.
- Ensure effective execution of promotional activities across platforms and territories.
BOV Collection & Market Intelligence
- Coordinate the collection of Broker Opinion of Value (BOV) through a network of local real estate agents.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness of valuation inputs.
- Provide market feedback and insights to support valuation benchmarking and strategic asset positioning.
Team Leadership & Operational Management
- Manage, lead, and develop a team of Auction Promotion Specialists and real estate agents.
- Translate strategic guidelines into operational execution plans and team objectives.
- Monitor individual and team performance against defined KPIs.
- Provide coaching, training, and continuous support to ensure high performance and capability development.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with asset managers, legal teams, and BOV/Exit functions to ensure seamless operational alignment.
- Manage interactions with property custodians to facilitate site visits and asset inspections.
- Support resolution of operational issues related to auction execution and participation.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor auction performance KPIs (participation rates, conversion rates, and sales outcomes).
- Provide structured reporting and insights to the Head of Function.
- Highlight risks, operational issues, and improvement opportunities.
Compliance & Process Execution
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations in all auction-related activities.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of documentation produced by the team.
- Support enforcement and continuous improvement of operational standards.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Propose enhancements to auction facilitation processes and BOV collection methodologies.
- Support adoption of digital tools and innovative engagement approaches.
- Contribute to functional-level initiatives aimed at improving auction effectiveness and asset performance.
Education
Qualifications
'-5–8 years of experience in real estate, NPL servicing, auction facilitation, or asset management.
- Experience in managing operational or commercial teams.
- Strong understanding of judicial auction processes and real estate market dynamics.
- Experience in valuation processes (BOV, comparables, market analysis).
- Ability to contribute to strategic discussions while maintaining strong execution focus.
- Strong KPI-driven mindset and performance orientation.
- Familiarity with digital real estate platforms and auction tools.
