RINA is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its office in Roma within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.

Mission

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support product assurance activities for An important program in the Aerospace/Defense sector. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality management systems, verifying process adherence, and supporting configuration management and documentation validation within a high-tech defense environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure proper implementation of the Quality Plan, supporting the team in achieving program and process compliance objectives.
  • Verify adherence to quality processes, ensuring correct application throughout all activities.
  • Support product configuration management, including PLM context definition and structure setup#LI-RD1
  • Assist in reviewing and approving specifications and definition documentation, including technical data packages (drawings, part lists, electrical schematics, and interconnection diagrams).
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly project progress reports through presentations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in Safety & Security panels, Design Reviews, and Gate Reviews, monitoring action items and supplier compliance with MBDA guidelines. #LI-FS1

Education

Master’s Degree in Engineering General or Aerospace Engineering

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance within aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, EN9100, and quality control methodologies.
  • Experience in configuration management and PLM tools (e.g., MATRIX).
  • Understanding of system and subsystem integration & validation, including hardware functional testing and environmental testing (MIL-STD 810).
  • Familiarity with industrialization and production processes, including non-conformance analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), with availability for travel within Italy and internationally.
