RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join its office in Genova, Roma or Napoli within the Aerospace & Defence Division.
Mission
We're hiring a Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of complex projects in the Space and Defense sectors. The selected candidate will work primarily at the premises of our clients, contributing to the coordination and monitoring of project activities to ensure that objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget.The Junior Project Manager will operate within a dynamic and highly technical environment, interacting with multiple stakeholders — including clients, RINA teams, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. The role involves supporting planning activities, aligning resources, tracking progress, and helping to resolve operational issues, always ensuring smooth communication and effective collaboration across all parties involved.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Act as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Assist in defining resource needs, assigning tasks, and supporting team coordination.
- Contribute to budget tracking and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify project risks and support the implementation of mitigation actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, contractual requirements, and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and contribute to regular reporting activities.
Education
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience managing medium-complexity projects or multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong track record of on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery.
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and resource coordination across disciplines.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams, assigning tasks effectively based on skills and roles.
- Good understanding of engineering principles and ability to collaborate with technical experts to ensure accurate integration of technical inputs.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera); familiarity with engineering tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
