RINA is currently recruiting for a Ports & Marine Facilities Junior Engineer to join its office in Rome, Italy within the Infrastructure Division.

Mission

This role focuses on providing support to engineers in designing solutions, products, machines, systems or structures, respecting time, budget, and quality requirements. Assigned to the team dedicated to the development and delivery of projects within the ports engineering unit.

Job Responsibilities

Being responsible for delivering multiple projects and reactive works and will work with consultants, contractors, the port operator and local communities & groups to deliver projects and solutions.

Preparing detailed analysis, design, and project deliverables including drawings, specifications and reports for general marine terminal infrastructure.

Being in charge in staff and under close RINA Senior Manager coordination of:

Preparation of design criteria and construction specifications.

Preparation of quantity take-offs and assistance in the preparation of capital cost estimates.

Conduction of field work and support during construction.

Attending project coordination meetings and liaise with project team members, clients, sub-consultants, contractors and regulatory and environmental approval agencies.

Education

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
