RINA is currently recruiting for a PROJECT MANAGER to join its office in ROME within the Aerospace & Defence Division.

Mission

RINA is looking for a PROJECT MANAGER to join our Space & Defense team in Rome. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects in a dynamic and innovative work environment.

Key Accountabilities

As a PROJECT MANAGER at RINA Consulting S.p.A., your key accountabilities will include:

Creation of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Project Baseline in collaboration with the Program Manager/Chief Engineer, taking ownership of defining project plans and schedules.
Identification and monitoring of project critical paths to ensure project milestones are achieved successfully.
Support in forecasting future workloads by defining the scenario of upcoming orders, contributing to efficient resource allocation and planning.
Establishment and management of project workload forecasting to optimize resource utilization and project delivery.
Collaboration with the Finance team to prepare annual Budget objectives and five-year Business Plan, aligning sales milestone plans for strategic growth.
Supervision of Project Control staff activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Rigorous cost control and calculation of overall project performance (EAC - Estimate at Completion) every six months to track financial health and project efficiency.
Proactive risk management, identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks to ensure project success.
Coordination of project resources with a focus on optimizing team performance and delivery outcomes, particularly within the Project Business Team.

Education

Master’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a Master's Degree in Engineering to join our team at RINA Consulting S.p.A.

Key Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
Nice to have Certification: PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification demonstrating project management proficiency.
Proficiency in English language (B2/C1 level) with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.
Demonstrated expertise in Project Management practices, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.

In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, the ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in project management practices.
