RINA is currently recruiting for a PROJECT MANAGER to join its office in ROME within the Aerospace & Defence Division.
Mission
RINA is looking for a PROJECT MANAGER to join our Space & Defense team in Rome. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects in a dynamic and innovative work environment.
Key Accountabilities
As a PROJECT MANAGER at RINA Consulting S.p.A., your key accountabilities will include:
- Creation of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Project Baseline in collaboration with the Program Manager/Chief Engineer, taking ownership of defining project plans and schedules.
- Identification and monitoring of project critical paths to ensure project milestones are achieved successfully.
- Support in forecasting future workloads by defining the scenario of upcoming orders, contributing to efficient resource allocation and planning.
- Establishment and management of project workload forecasting to optimize resource utilization and project delivery.
- Collaboration with the Finance team to prepare annual Budget objectives and five-year Business Plan, aligning sales milestone plans for strategic growth.
- Supervision of Project Control staff activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Rigorous cost control and calculation of overall project performance (EAC - Estimate at Completion) every six months to track financial health and project efficiency.
- Proactive risk management, identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks to ensure project success.
- Coordination of project resources with a focus on optimizing team performance and delivery outcomes, particularly within the Project Business Team.
Education
Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a Master's Degree in Engineering to join our team at RINA Consulting S.p.A.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Nice to have Certification: PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification demonstrating project management proficiency.
- Proficiency in English language (B2/C1 level) with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Demonstrated expertise in Project Management practices, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.
In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, the ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in project management practices.
