OFFSHORE HSE Superintendent

RINA is currently recruiting for a OFFSHORE HSE Superintendent to join its office in ROME within the Energy Project Solutions Division.

Mission

The Site Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe execution of activities at the site. The individual should be dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Effective communication and collaboration with managers, along with proactive problem-solving, are essential for success in this role.

Key Accountabilities

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Assist T&I and drilling department for HSE issues: auditing, carry out hazard analysis, , update the risk register, arrange for HSE of drilling and other offshore activities, ensure HSE statistics and reporting, ensure contractors performance monitoring.
  • Identify and assess HSE risks in all the project phases and related countermeasures

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Technical diploma / Engineering
  • 10 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience offshore (both drilling and vessels management)
  • Professional qualifications:
  • Accreditation in HSE Codes / accredited HSE Auditor
  • Implementation of the HSE Management System in the field.

Education

High School Diploma/GED in General Studies/Other

Qualifications

Experience:
- Several years of experience in construction, with a proven track record of progressively responsible roles.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position on construction sites.
Safety Certification:
- Certification in safety management or relevant safety training programs.
Familiarity with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and standards.
