RINA is currently recruiting for a Lazio, Sardegna & Campania Certification Industrial Services Inspector to join its office in Rome, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.
Mission
As an Industrial Services Inspector at RINA Services S.p.A., your mission is to ensure the safety and quality of various industrial services, such as mandatory certifications for electrics, lifting equipment, elevators, plants, welding, pressure equipment, personnel, and CE marking. Your role is crucial in assisting businesses in meeting regulatory standards and providing reliable and safe services to their customers. Working under the supervision of a Senior/Principal Inspector, you will be handling more complex assignments that contribute to the overall safety and quality assurance of industrial services. #LI-MCI1
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct Inspections:
Execute on-site inspections, examinations, and audits to evaluate compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. - Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings and offering clear recommendations for corrective actions or enhancements. Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and rejections. - Material and Procedure Review:
Review materials, manufacturing/process procedures, and testing methods to ensure they meet certification requirements. - Quality Assurance:
Oversee quality control processes during activities to ensure adherence to quality plans. - Code Compliance:
Stay updated with industry codes, standards, and regulations to conduct inspections according to the latest requirements. - Qualification:
Assess the qualifications and certifications of services and operators to ensure compliance with standards. - Safety:
Promote and enforce safety measures, evaluate equipment and plant reliability, and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Client Interaction:
Communicate with clients, address their inquiries professionally, and provide information about the certification scheme. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process enhancements, contribute to improving inspection procedures' efficiency, and provide training on the latest techniques and technologies. - Training:
Keep abreast of new inspection methods, conduct training for colleagues and clients as necessary.
Education
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements: Completion of a 40-hour training course - Certification IWI/CSWIP
Preferred Requirements: Certification IWE/IWT/IWS
