RINA is currently recruiting for a Key Supplier Account & Configuration Engineer to join its office in Colleferro within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.

Mission

The Key Supplier Account & Configuration Junior Engineer role is responsible for overseeing supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, and optimizing material flow to support production efficiency. The position requires strong coordination with cross-functional teams to manage logistics, supplier capabilities, and inventory while driving continuous improvement in supply chain operations.

Key Accountabilities

In this role, your key accountabilities will include:

  • Ensuring supplier compliance with contracts and operational standards while actively working to optimise supply chain efficiency.
  • Managing inventory levels and material flow to uphold production schedules and reduce any potential disruptions.
  • Evaluating the impact of fluctuating supply needs on supplier workloads, including variations in configurations.
  • Enhancing supplier capabilities through collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, focusing on effective logistics strategies.
  • Overseeing the management of non-conforming materials to ensure compliance and reduce downtime throughout operations.
  • Monitoring and driving improvements in supplier performance, ensuring efficiency and responsiveness to our operational needs.
  • Supporting procurement activities and supplier development with an emphasis on integrating sustainable practices.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering or Engineering General

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, underlining your technical proficiency.
  • Strong command of MS Office applications and MS Project, with familiarity in MRP tools being an advantageous capability.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in SAP or similar supply chain management systems, aiding in effective operational oversight.
  • Fluency in English, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with a diverse array of teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills, enabling you to juggle multiple priorities with ease and efficiency.
  • Robust problem-solving abilities, equipped to navigate and address challenges that arise throughout the supply chain process.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, both nationally and internationally, fostering connections with clients and suppliers alike, enhancing your professional experience and network.
