RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior SW Embedded Engineer Roma to join its office in Rome within the Space & Defence Division.

Mission

This role focuses on embedded SW design and development activities of software components for avionics equipment.

Key Accountabilities

The following technical skills are required:
•    Knowledge of the C/C++ programming language.
•    Knowledge of embedded software development, operating systems and related issues.
•    Knowledge of multi-task and multi-threaded application development.
•    Knowledge of the main interface peripherals (ethernet, UART, etc..) and driver development.    
•    Knowledge of configuration management and code versioning tools (e.g. SVN, GIT, Redmine etc..)
•    Good written and spoken knowledge of the English language.
The following skills are considered preferential:
•    Knowledge of the Linux operating system as a developer (device drivers, kernel modifications and recompilation, etc.)
•    Knowledge of SW engineering lifecycle (analysis, design and development)
The profile is completed by:
•    Ability to work in a team
•    Analysis and problem solving skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
