RINA is currently recruiting for a Italy RAMT & Safety Engineer to join its office in Rome and La Spezia  within the Space & Defence Division.

Mission

Rina is looking for junior and senior RAMT & Safety Engineer to join our Space&Defence Team in Rome and La Spezia

Job Responsibilities

Your main duties will include but not limited to:

Performing RAMS analysis of complex systems and in particular:

  • Reliability Prediction Analysis
  • Reliability Block Diagrams
  • Failure Analysis Including FMEA/FMECA and FTA
  • Maintainability and Testability Analysis
  • Safety Assessment of complex systems including Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment activities

Management  and  control of  the Subcontractors  RAMS  activities for  reliability,  availability,  and safety matters

Critical review of subcontractors documentation

Participation to subcontractors reviews

Update  of  equipment  technical  specification  (RAMS  section)  according  to  the  system  analyses, addressing  reliability  allocation,  availability  allocation,  lifetime  requirements,  failure tolerance requirements

Competencies

Professional experience in the following Topics:
- Reliability Predictions

- Reliability Block Diagram (RBD)

- FMECA, FMEA, FTA, Fault Catalog, Critical Item List

- Maintainability and testability analysis

- Safety analysis techniques and methodologies: SSA and risk assessment, PHA (Preliminary Hazard Analysis), SHA (System Hazard Analysis), FHA (Functional Hazard Analysis), Hazard Log, O&SHA
- Knowledge of one or more of the following standard: MIL-HDBK-217F, FIDES or similar standards, MIL-STD-1629A, MIL-STD-882D/E,
- Problem solving attitude
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge and use of English

Education

Master’s Degree in Electronics, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineeering
