RINA is currently recruiting for a Italy Integrated Logistics Support Engineer to join its office in Roma within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.

Mission

The resource will cover the role of Components Obsolescence & Shortage Manager with the task of coordinating and managing all monitoring and resolution activities of actual or commercial obsolescences of the components used in the products.

Key Accountabilities

Drafting of Technical Specifications;
Preferable knowledge of electronic boards, microwave modules and units for Radar/ESM/ECM equipment;
Resolution of component obsolescence, Supervision of the actual state of obsolescence, evaluations for FFF alternatives, Interface with the design for the validation of alternatives or redesign activities;
Knowledge of product life cycle flow management;
Analysis of the impacts of obsolescence on system supportability;
Obsolescence report drafting.

Education

Master’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent;
Proficient in MS Office packages, MS Project.
Fluency in English;
Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (e.g. Windchill);
Knowledge of the SAP tool is preferable;
Excellent team management skills;
Excellent planning and organization skills;
Excellent problem solving skills.
