RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Junior Maintenance Engineer to join its office in Rome within the Operations and Maintenance Engineering Division.
Mission
You will be part of RINA Consulting S.p.A. as an intern, focusing on developing both technical and soft skills. Over a six-month period, this internship aims to provide comprehensive training for various projects within the maintenance division. This opportunity will enable you to gain practical insights into engineering principles while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. Main Tasks
As a Junior Maintenance Engineer Intern, yuo will be trained on the following activities:
- Collaborating with senior and principal engineers to support project plans, conduct calculations, and create detailed blueprints and structural diagrams.
- Providing oversight and day-to-day support for ongoing engineering projects, which may involve site visits for measuring and gathering data.
- Assisting engineering teams by compiling necessary data for permit applications and submitting required documentation.
- Working closely with experienced engineers to develop comprehensive project schedules and timelines for deliverables.
- Preparing essential project documentation, including technical reports, performance evaluations, and engineering drawings.
- Creating and presenting progress reports to stakeholders and engineering personnel.
- Understanding and adhering to the RINA Quality Management System, ensuring your work meets established quality standards.
- Acting as a liaison between engineering teams and contractors, addressing queries and facilitating communication effectively.
Education
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering is essential for this position.
- Proficiency in both Italian and English is required to support effective communication across teams and with external stakeholders.
