RINA is currently recruiting for a Hardware Design Engineer to join its office in Rome within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.
Mission
The role has strong electronic background and focuses on contributing to preparing detailed project documentation, technical proposal, and participating in technical reviews with customers.
Key Accountabilities
Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation based on RTCA DO-254 lifecycle, including technical data packages, production packages, test requirements and test procedures;
- ensure all documentation meets industry standards and customer requirements;
- prepare technical proposals based on client technical specifications, gathering all the necessary information autonomously.
Hardware design:
- Design of electronic boards;
- validate design performance and reliability, integration and testing activities;
- address customer enquiries and use the feedback to improve the documentation and the design.
Education
Qualifications
- A positive evaluation is given to a minimal amount of experience in technical documentation and hardware design, especially in aerospace applications;
- good knowledge and understanding of RTCA DO-254;
- proficiency in designing electronic boards;
- (optional) experience in FPGA synthesis (Verilog, VHDL) and FPGA simulation (ModelSim, VCS) is positively evaluated.
