RINA is currently recruiting for a HSE Project Manager to join its office in Rome, Genoa or Rozzano within the Energy Engineering Project Management Division.
Mission
As the Health, Safety and Environment Engineering Project Manager at RINA Consulting S.p.A., the candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and leading projects to ensure successful outcomes that meet client expectations while adhering to strict safety, health, and environmental standards. By collaborating closely with internal teams and clients, the candidate will drive projects from initiation to completion. Key Accountabilities
Project Management:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Contract Management:
- Ensure all project activities comply with the terms and conditions of the client contract, tracking any amendments.
- Identify contract risks and communicate with legal or procurement teams as needed for support.
Client Interaction:
- Act as the point of contact for the client, providing regular status updates and addressing inquiries or concerns.
Team Management:
- Coordinate task assignments with project engineers and team members offering support and guidance to optimize performance and achieve project objectives.
Budget Management:
- Support in developing the project budget, identify cost-saving opportunities and update stakeholders on budget status and adjustments.
Risk Management:
- Support in implementing risk mitigation strategies, monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle, and ensure proactive engagement with stakeholders.
Quality Assurance:
- Oversee quality control procedures, review project outputs for compliance with specifications and address deviations.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for future improvement.
Documentation and Communication:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for the entire project lifecycle, including meeting minutes, reports, and project records.
- Ensure regular communication with both internal and external stakeholders, providing transparency on project progress.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering or technical role within a project setting, ideally with exposure to cross-functional teamwork and meeting deadlines.
- Master's Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical or Energy Engineering is a must have
- Proficiency in project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Understanding of industry standards, safety and environmental regulations, and quality control processes relevant to the sector.
- Knowledge of contracts, client management and vendor relations.
- Technical background in health, safety and environmental permitting and standards.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, while Italian fluency is essential and proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
